Jeanette Cheah is co-founder and CEO of Hacker Exchange (HEX), a next-gen education company teaching crucial innovation, entrepreneurship and employability skills to future global leaders.
Passionate about tech inclusion and diversity in business, Jeanette is also a startup mentor for migrant and refugee founders at Catalysr, a regular guest lecturer at leading Australian universities including Monash University, an in-demand speaker on education and innovation trends at events like SXSW, Future Work Summit, Melbourne Knowledge Week, and the Women's Economic Forum, London.
Recently, Jeanette was listed as a woman of influence in Smart Company and represented Australia at the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance in Argentina. She received the 2019 ‘Women In Tech - Global Ally’ Award in Portugal for her work driving diversity into tech, and was a Finalist in the Telstra Business Women's Awards.
Before founding HEX, Jeanette spent 14 years building innovation, marketing and product solutions for ANZ, AXA, AMP and Origin Energy. Jeanette is a proud Monash University Alumni, with a background in Economics, Sociology, Marketing and UX Design. Based in Melbourne, but raised across the US, Japan and Australia, Jeanette is a true global citizen who loves keeping up with political and pop culture news.
